Hair colouring is in vogue nowadays. Before finalising on hair colour it is important to know which colour will suit your skin and look good on your personality. There are two types of skin tone – warm skin tone and cold skin tone. To know the skin tone, just stand in sunlight and then if the veins of your wrist show blue then you have cold skin tone and if green then you have warm skin tone.

For hair colour choose shades that are complimentary to your skin tone. The wrong colour choice might create sharp contrasts between your hair and skin colour which will place highlight on imperfections like dark circles and wrinkles so choosing right colour is most important.

Hair colour choice for cold skin tone – With cold skin tone, hair colours like blonde, ash brown, mutli-tonal blonde, soft copper, sun-kissed ambre, classic red goes well.

Hair colour choice for warm skin tone – With warm skin tone, hair colours like soft black, golden brown, warm multii-tnal brown, caramel tips, chocolate, honey blonde and rose gold suits well.
